"The Outer Banks is a favorite vacation spot with its diverse painting opportunities. Several years ago, my wife and I both painted at the Oregon Inlet in North Carolina. We have a pop-up truck camper that works so well as a painting studio on wheels. We were on the shore painting and unfortunately when we got back to our campsite, there was an evacuation notice on our camper door. We had one hour to close down our camp site because of an approaching storm. It was a beautiful area to paint and we look forward to returning in fairer weather to paint again." - Jack Paluh
