Cole Johnson
Cole Johnson captures the spiritual beauty of the natural world in realistic and meticulous detail utilizing the medium of graphite and pencil.
Cole has lived in upstate New York his entire life and now resides in Binghamton, New York, in a lush mountainous region. Hunting, fishing, and spending time in "the woods" have been the preferred activities most of his life. Favorite subjects include the species he is intimately acquainted with in the field - the white-tailed deer, trout, turkeys, hunting dogs and waterfowl.
Cole's work has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, on the cover of Shooting Sportsman, and the Grand Teton National Park's annual "Western Visions" show. Along with being featured at the Painted Finch, his work can also be found at Astoria Gallery and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
